In my numerous drives from Carpinteria to Joshua Tree, I have always been glad to see this replica from the freeway. Because Cabazon is about 30 minutes away from my final destination of Joshua Tree, this is a sign that I am almost there. Wanting to keep a good hand at figure painting, and taking a liking to "Dinny" and T. rex, I opted to use them as a model.

Visitors are welcome to come see this replica of T. rex on display in Cabazon, California (just off Highway 10), right next to the Dinosaur Museum.
