Ray Strong, is often referred to as the "dean" of Santa Barbara landscape painting. Ray's 99th birthday was a festive occasion celebrated at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, with a plein air "paint out". This is a view near the creek that runs through the museum grounds.
